Welcome

We are very fortunate here in Chesterfield to have a pétanque club at Holmebrook Valley Park. A great location with free car parking, toilet facilities, café and fantastic views. The main entrance to the park is via Water Meadow Lane off the B6051 Newbold Road, Chesterfield S41 8XP (see map on the Contacts & Links page)

Why not come along and have a go?

Chesterfield Pétanque Club gives people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play the French game of boules in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our piste is open to the public and anyone can play at any time. However should you require a little guidance why not come and join us at one of our club sessions for free advice and loan of boules. All are welcome, including disabled players. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Pétanque (or French Boules) is currently one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. No experience is necessary and boules can usually be borrowed if required.
